Port Colborne - The Little City That Can

Welcome to Port Colborne.

A city where you can feel the pride in community everywhere you go. Welcoming neighbourhoods, thriving festivals and white sandy beaches.

Port Colborne is situated where The Welland Canal feeds into Lake Erie, making for some stunning waterviews, fantastic water activities and true nautical history.

There are many great neighbourhoods in Port Colborne and we cannot cover them all. Here are the most popular ones:

Sherkston - A community with a mix of prestigious lakefront homes and modest character homes nestled in Carolinian forests. Sherkston is a great place to settle in with family and enjoy summer time with friends. Easy access to the picturesque Pleasant Beach and just a short drive to Crystal Beach in Fort Erie.

Sugarloaf - A Port Colborne favorite. Located to the west of the Welland Canal, this neighbourhood is home to the gorgeous and historic Sugarloaf Harbour Marina. It is here where you can charter a boat and head out for a glorious fishing expedition. This community has a great mix of established and new neighbourhoods giving you plenty of options when it comes to choosing the right home for you and your family.

Stonebridge - A neighbourhood of affordable family homes is located just off of Highway 58. Making for easy trips to all amenities, necessities and the rest of the Niagara Region to the North. Investors are watching this area of Port Colborne as a possible future option for single family, and multi-family home investments.

Bethal & Gasline - If you are looking for rural living in Port Colborne these two neighbourhoods are where you want to be. Bethal is located towards the North East of Welland Canal and Gasline towards the South East. Character homes and farmhouses on rural lots is exactly what you'll find in these communities.

There is much fun to be had in this grand city. From the Canal Day Festival to fun summer activites - relaxing on the beach, fishing, wind surfing and scuba diving. Enjoy watching tall ships from the Sugarloaf Harbour Marina or take a trip to the Roselawn Centre for Christmas markets, theater and year round fun.

Port Colborne is a working marine community with many commercial and residential opportunities. With summer celebrations, a strong sense of community and a rich history, it is easy to see why this city has a strong sense of pride.

Real Estate prices are house dependent as in most cities. However if you are looking for a regular family home, you are in luck. Housing prices are still affordable and many people are watching this area as a possible next place to invest.
