A community filled with charm, history and remarkable scenery - Living in Grimsby.

Grimsby - "Friendly By Nature"

Welcome to Grimsby.

An inviting boutique community that encompasses stunning lake and escarpment views, accommodates an active lifestyle and encourages enjoyment.

Situated in an incredibly ideal location, Grimsby is not only in close proximity to both Toronto and the rest of Niagara, but is nestled in the Niagara Escarpment (know as Grimsby Mountain) to the South and on Lake Ontario to the North.

Here are the major Grimsby neighbourhoods:

Grimsby Beach - A unique blend of history, charm and exceptionally beautiful homes. It is easy to enjoy this lakeside lifestyle with fishing, boating and sunset gazing along the shores of Lake Ontario. But perhaps the most intriguing thing about Grimsby Beach are the cottages. If you haven't yet, take a drive down Betts Avenue and explore the little lane ways off of this Avenue and discover gorgeous and truly whimsical Gingerbread Style Cottages.

Grimsby Escarpment - Known for many of its stylish estate-type homes and quaint country properties, living on the Grimsby Escarpment is truly extraordinary. If you are looking to take the scenic route on your way down to Niagara (and I recommend it when the QEW is swamped with traffic), take a drive down Ridge Road and gaze at some spectacular properties in a gorgeous setting. If you enjoy privacy, hiking and country living, check out the Grimsby Mountain.

Grimsby East & Nelles - A mix of stately bungalows, newly built townhomes and well renovated homes. East Grimsby borders the lovely quaint winery town of Beamsville and is home itself to some notable wineries. Aside from geographic location, It is tough to differentiate this neighbourhood from any other in Grimsby because of its family friendly streets, accommodating amenities and charming homes.

Grimsby West & Casablanca - This area of Grimsby is home to some seriously grand and truly beautiful homes. Another area bordering Lake Ontario, this neighbourhood offers a mix of rural properties and newly built towhomes and condos with lake views as well. Being the closest community heading towards the GTA, this area is a favorite among commuters and families and will be even more so once the Go Station is extended to the South of Casablanca Boulevard by 2021.

Grimsby accommodates a range of lifestyles - from hiking and biking, boating and fishing to simple relaxation. Be it strolling along the beach or in one of the picturesque parks, or perhaps enjoying a night out wine tasting at one of the stunning wineries that dot Grimsby's rural countryside.

Young professionals, families, retirees and commuters alike all feel that Grimsby is a special place to call home and it is easy to see why.

As a result of the understandable popularity of the entire Grimsby area the real estate prices are the highest in the Niagara Region but are still affordable when compared to Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga and Toronto.
